Recipe to share

Jalapeno Jelly Recipe
{this was served at the 365 Swap}

I have to start off by saying that I got this recipe from my fun friend Sheryl {a 365 Swap girl} so many of you might have met her that night. Isn't it great to have friends that share! -p.s. this is a super yummy & easy recipe too-

7-8 Green Bell Peppers 3-4 Jalapeno Peppers 6 C. Sugar {use exact amount} 2 C. Vinegar 2-3 ounce pkgs. of Liquid Pectin {each pkg. contains 3 oz.} 3-4 drops of green food coloring Wash peppers, take out seeds {be sure to wear gloves} If I want it a little hotter I leave in 1 or 2 of the pepper seeds. Cut into pieces & blend in a blender with 1/2 of the Vinegar. In a 6-8 quart sauce pan combine 6 C. sugar & the remaining vinegar, and pepper mixture. Bring mixture to full rolling boil while stirring constantly. Boil hard for 10 min. {while stirring} Remove from hear stir in liquid pectin. Return to full boil & boil for 1 min. Remove from hear and add green food coloring. Skim off any scum & immediately fill jars in 1/4 inch from the top. Wipe off jar lids & screw lids firmly. Process 15 minutes in water bath.
So easy & delicious! I always like to make these in the Fall to give for Christmas gifts. Just wrap them up with a red ribbon & you're good to go. I also give them with a brick of cream cheese & a box of crackers so they can serve them right away if they want. Enjoy :)
